Along with cooking, I love to share my recipes and ideas about cooking with anybody who will listen. That’s one reason why I have a regular segment on KWMR Community Radio (www.kwmr.org) every other Monday morning at 9:30 am. I appear on the “Eyes Wide Open” show hosted by Peter Asmus, my business partner and sweetheart.

I am a regular employee at the Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, developing vegetarian meals for over 100 people on Monday nights and recipes and meals for on-site retreats and special events (www.spiritrock.org.)

I have worked as a server for Bon Appetit at the DeYoung Museum and Legion of Honor in San Francisco. I have performed on-site food preparation for film crews in Sonoma, Napa, San Francisco and the East Bay (often under the most challenging of circumstances) while working for Willow Camp Catering.

I also love to do high-end catering, cooking and serving for the Bella Cucina of San Rafael, the Whim Agency and Le Bonne Vie Catering of Novato. I offer private chef cooking services for Seadrift in Stinson Beach (www.seadriftrealty.com) and premium lodging facilities in Inverness (www.motelinverness.com) .

The Learning as Leadership Center hires me to serve lunches on a weekly basis and the Marin Coaching Alliance also hires me occasionally to cook and serve small lunches and special events. I have also been a private cook for nationally known Tiburon artist Allison Massari and for business executives in San Francisco. In the past, I also served as a Line Cook and Managing Chef for The Perfect Blend restaurant in Los Gatos and worked with Marin County’s Carr’s Catering and Your Pleasure Catering.

KT catered for my family when we came to stay in Stinson in May. We are a mixed bunch of eaters - some carnivores, vegetarians and 3 (sometimes fussy) toddlers. KT was fantastic and provided fresh, locally grown, organic meals for the duration of our stay which were just delicious. Each day provided something different yet fantastic so it was no wonder we rarely wanted to go out to eat! KT was also wonderful company and was happy to share her knowledge and recipes with the keener cooks amongst us.

Katy is a fine caterer for parties small and large, knowing just how to appeal to many palates. For an intimate dinner (cooked in your own home and served on your own best plates), she is superb. Moreover, along with her artistic flair with ingredients, Katy is a most charming and witty hostess in the kitchen!

We are quite fortunate to have discovered Catherine.  She caters lunch for us several times a week.  We have a wide range of tastes and dietary needs - so cooking for us is a challenge!  Catherine's cuisine is always organic, fresh, seasonal, and beautifully displayed.  Even before Catherine has properly laid out the meal - our employees line up, noses wiggling with delight for lunch.  About half our staff is French and they love her cooking.  Catherine combines her skills in French culinary traditions with healthy California cuisine innovations.  She has a warm, nurturing personality that our staff truly appreciates.  Her fees are reasonable.  Her servings are plentiful.  She is prompt and responsible.  We highly recommend her for any occasion.
